Medical Terminology

Develop a strong foundation in medical language and terminology through this course designed to equip students with the essential skills for success in the Medical Office Assistant and/or Hospital Unit Clerk certificate program.   Explore word roots, prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms to construct, use, and spell medical words for different body systems and structures.  

Our Medical Terminology course explores anatomical, physiological, and pathological body systems and their associated terminology. Immerse yourself in the language and biology of each system to develop a strong understanding of medical terminology, enhancing your communication and comprehension of medical concepts.  

Successful completion of Medical Terminology is a prerequisite to entering the Medical Office Assistant and/or Hospital Unit Clerk certificate program.
