CourseGraphic This course will prepare you to write the GED (General Educational Development) exams. The GED exams are a way to obtain an Alberta Education High School Equivalency Diploma. Instruction will be given in five subject areas: Language Arts (Writing), Language Arts (Reading), Social Studies, Science and Math. This course is suitable for those who have a minimum Grade 10 in the last 10 years and need to brush up on their reading, writing and math skills in preparation for sitting the GED exam. The GED is widely accepted by businesses and organizations as a substitute credential for a high school diploma. Additional upgrading of high school courses may be required for students entering post-secondary programs.
