Build a solid foundation in medical language and terminology. This course is designed to support success in both the Medical Office Assistant and Hospital Unit Clerk programs. Students will learn how to recognize and use word roots, prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms to construct and understand medical terms. Content is organized by body system, with a focus on anatomical, physiological, and pathological terminology to support accurate communication and comprehension in healthcare settings. 

Successful completion of Medical Terminology is a prerequisite to entering the Medical Office Assistant and/or Hospital Unit Clerk certificate program.
